Dr. Luis Abrahante | Dentist 

Dr. Luis Abrahante is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, focusing on high-end aesthetic and implant dentistry. He offers advanced procedures such as all-on-x, veneers, comprehensive smile designs, and facial aesthetics treatments like Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. Abrahante skillfully integrates cutting-edge digital dentistry into his practice, utilizing 3D printing technologies to enhance both surgical and aesthetic outcomes.

Dr. Abrahante is the only member of the American Society of Dental Aesthetics (ASDA) practicing in Jefferson County, Alabama, a highly selective organization that accepts only top-tier dentists through a rigorous application process. He is also a proud member of other esteemed organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He has been awarded membership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) due to his exceptional surgical performance. His contributions to the field have also been recognized with the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Outstanding Award and the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award.

Susan |  Office Manager & Patient Coordinator

Susan brings nearly 20 years of experience in the dental field to our team at OTM. With her extensive knowledge and warm personality, she is often the first friendly face our patients see when they walk through the door. As our Office Manager, Susan keeps the practice running smoothly — from managing the schedule and coordinating patient appointments to ensuring every detail is taken care of behind the scenes.

In her role, Susan also assists patients with insurance questions, helping them understand their benefits and making the process of treatment planning as seamless as possible. She works closely with patients to coordinate care, answer questions, and provide the support they need to feel comfortable and confident about their dental journey. Her ability to balance both administrative expertise and patient care makes her an invaluable part of our office.

Beyond her management skills, Susan is also the heart of our office culture. She brings joy and creativity by decorating for special events and holidays, adding warmth and a personal touch to our space. Patients and team members alike appreciate her positive energy and the way she keeps our office connected and organized.

Graduating from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, Susan is an accomplished artist who shares her talent with the community by selling her artwork at shows throughout the year. Her creativity, combined with her professionalism and nearly two decades of dental experience, makes her an irreplaceable part of our team.

Rhonda | Registered Dental Hygienist

Rhonda brings many years of experience in the dental field and wears many hats in our office. As a licensed dental hygienist, she provides a full range of preventive and therapeutic services, including professional cleanings, periodontal therapy, scaling and root planing, and soft tissue management. She also performs oral cancer screenings, patient education on home care, and helps monitor gum and bone health to keep smiles healthy long-term.

In addition to her hygiene expertise, Rhonda is certified in the state of Alabama to administer local anesthesia and infiltrations, ensuring patients remain comfortable throughout their treatment. She also assists the team when needed, making her a versatile and valuable part of our practice.

Outside of dentistry, Rhonda has a passion for gardening and is the reason our office plants are still thriving.

Lisbet| Lead Dental Assistant

Lisbet is the newest addition to our team, bringing fresh enthusiasm and a heartfelt passion for dentistry. Originally from Cuba, she holds a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, which gives her a strong foundation in patient care and a deep understanding of health and wellness. After moving to the United States, Lisbet discovered her passion for dentistry and made the exciting transition into the dental field.

Today, she serves as our Lead Dental Assistant and also wears many hats in the practice. In addition to assisting with dental procedures, Lisbet helps guide patients through their visits, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. She has a special role as our Patient Coordinator for Hispanic patients, bridging language and cultural gaps so that every member of our community feels truly at home in our office.

Lisbet is also working toward her long-term goal of becoming a certified dental hygienist, continuing to grow her skills and knowledge in dentistry. Patients appreciate her cheerful personality, professionalism, and dedication to making their dental experience positive and stress-free.

Outside of work, Lisbet enjoys spending time with family, learning new things, and pursuing her studies — always with the same energy and passion she brings to our team every day.
