Dear Patients and Friends,
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve with new variants and low vaccination rates in Alabama, our primary concern remains your safety. For the foreseeable future, if you have not received your COVID-19 vaccine, we will continue to ask that you wear a mask when not receiving treatment during your time in the office. All staff will continue to wear masks as we did prior to COVID-19. Our waiting room has re-opened at this time. All COVID-19 policies are subject to change based on local, state or national ordinances.
Dentistry has been at the forefront of infection control for a long time. We have been preventing the spread of diseases by preventing cross-contamination and using full barrier techniques. We will continue these practices, and we have a new level of precaution since COVID-19 is a respiratory disease. Please be aware of these additional measures…
- If you have tested positive for coronavirus or are awaiting test results, or you have cold symptoms (fever, body aches, cough, etc), you are required to reschedule your appointment.
- Wear a mask or face covering if not fully vaccinated (honor policy).
- We are staggering appointments to promote social distancing.
Our team is ready to serve you.
Thank you for the chance to serve you, and thank you for working with us.
“We are in this together!”
- Dr. Carter Mitchell, Susan, Kiera, Rhonda, and Kashmala
If you have not already received your COVID-19 vaccine, we strongly urge you to discuss your options with your primary medical doctor. You can visit Alabama's Department of Public Health for information about COVID-19 and to find a vaccine site convenient to you.
